Instructions

Traditional Blended Method

  • Grab your blender and toss in 2 oz white rum, 1.5 oz cream of coconut, 1.5 oz pineapple juice, and 1 cup ice. Blend until smooth and creamy—about 30 seconds does the trick. Pour into a hurricane glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry.

Shaken Version for a Lighter Texture

  • Want something lighter? Combine 2 oz rum, 1.5 oz cream of coconut, and 2 oz pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until frosty. Strain into a chilled glass and top with a splash of soda water for extra fizz.
